Alcohol, more often than not, is a big part of the night for most young people. Many say it helps them feel comfortable in unfamiliar social settings, making it just that much easier to meet new people. What they may not say are the unwelcome, undesired sexual advances and encounters that arise as a result of being overly intoxicated.
The Global Drug Survey has found shocking results that point to a “hidden epidemic of dangerous behaviour and sexual assaults” that go unreported to police.
