When she saw him playing football
she thought he was so smart
he played through her defences
and dribbled with her heart
They married not long after
but on their wedding night
he made her wear a football strip
and England colour tights.

Each Sunday when he’s out there
she tries to do her bit
while he’s shouting at the players
she’s organising kit
Her tough controlling husband
won’t let her do it all
She can help with pitch inspections
but she must not touch his balls

She is constant true and loyal
She always puts him first
She tolerates his passion

  2. Thank you for the sensible critique. Me and my neighbor were just preparing to do a little research about this. We got a grab a book from our local library but I think I learned more from this post. I am very glad to see such wonderful information being shared freely out there.
